Silver Strike Bowling is the most popular video bowling game in on-premise entertainment. The realistic ten-pin trackball bowler can be found in over twelve thousand bars and restaurants in the U.S., Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia and the U.K. Its lifelike competitive experience and straightforward trackball control has cultivated an army of more than 5 million Silver Strike bowlers since the game was first released in the summer of 2004.
In 2006, Incredible Technologies broke the mold by releasing Silver Strike 2007 Bowler's Club. In 2008, they followed this up with Silver Strike 2009 Bowler's Club – a considerable step in the world of virtual bowling. A revolutionary always-online version of Silver Strike, SSBC was connected online via ITNet® allowing bowler's to track their stats, compete in contests, be a part of local leagues and, most importantly, enter weekly sweepstakes for huge prizes! Whether it was cash, cars or cruises the Silver Strike Sweepstakes was always giving away big prizes to avid bowlers every week!
At SM&G we realize that an out-of-order amusement equals lost revenue. That is why we work around the clock to keep our amusements up and running. Most operators have to send parts or even the whole machine to a distributor for repair. This means you are losing money for days or weeks on end. SM&G has its own local repair shop where all repairs are done in-house. With our after hours repair service, most machines are back up and running within a day or two. Don't waste time and money with operators unable to repair their own products. Our speedy turn-around ensures you continue making revenue with our amusements.
At SM&G we never move amusements from location to location. All amusements come back to our shop for detailed maintenance, restoration and repair. Buttons and joysticks are broken down and cleaned. Trackballs are taken apart cleaned, polished, and rods are oiled for a super smooth rolling performance. CPUs are broken down, fresh heat sink paste is applied under processors, fans are cleaned and oiled, memory batteries are replaced, video cards get maintenance and capacitors are replaced if needed. Power supplies are cleaned, fans are oiled and voltage is double-checked. Monitors are cleaned and their chassis boards are recapped with new capacitors if needed. Lastly, hard-drives are reprogrammed if necessary.
The next step is restoring the cabinet. We offer full cabinet restoration and can repair any busted up corners, sides or dings. We then wipe down the cabinet with de-greaser and replace t-molding on the sides so it will be ready for its shiny new look. Finally, we install the restored parts back into the restored cabinet. After testing the machine, it is now ready for your location. At SM&G, we take pride in this process. Not only do your amusements look brand new when we roll them in, they run smoother with fewer issues. Maintenance like this is a must but still many operators let the dust build up inside and out which leads to over heating and eventually an Out of Order sign on their own amusement which they can't quickly repair. Don't lose revenue with other operators lacking experience in maintenance and repair.
